Schindler's List Response

This movie was about a man named Oskar Schindler who saved thousands of Jews during the Holocaust by making them slaves in his ammunitions factory. There were many times in the movie where he was mean to Jews and killed them or hurt them. Over the time of the movie Schindler gets more attached to the Jews and realizes they are people just like him. This leads to the ending where Schindler breaks down in tears crying because he realizes he could of saved more Jews. Thanks to him many Jews were saved and are still alive today. The movie had graphic scenes expressing the horror of the holocaust and giving the general public a glimpse of what it was like. The film was moving and powerful telling the story of one of the most cruel yet heroic men in all of history.

Power is the strength, will, and force of a person to move a generation, group, or person to do what ever the person holding the power desires. To the people in the movie like Schindler, power means the force and strength to control the Jews or a large population. Yes, they misuse power! Some use it against the Jews but Schindler also used it to save the Jews.

The end of the movie when the Jewish man gave him the ring, and he realized he could have saved more people. It is when he realized they are caring people just like him or anyone else.

The scenes and nature of the film were very powerful and moving. The Blood, Music, and black and white feel gave the viewer a scary and impacting view of the story. Some parts I closed my eyes because of how real Spielberg made the film. This film was amazing and impacting for anyone who watches it.
